Chinatown

Busking Chinatown is the favourite hideout for local Chinese to shop during the CNY period! It was a couple of weeks back when we did this shoot and boy! Crowd was already drawing in, with red auspicious couplets and decorations painting the town!

Shopping for CNY is always great fun, especially with your loved ones and family. Sometimes when we can't decide on the "best" decoration or "goodie" to get, we end up buying all, cause anyway the price is so reasonable, and the more abundant, the more blessings!

Among the crowd, it's hard not to get notice by passer-by, but everyone is still so focused on getting the items on their shopping list!

It's really hard not to be taken in by the atmosphere and vibe of the town, and whether you go home with something or not, it's often the festive feel that will consume you. A great time to soak in the festive spirit, or just sit at the local coffee shop and enjoy people watching. This town is truly unique, filled with much joy and vibrancy.

The scenes at Chinatown, can be viewed by so many perspective. It's amazing how an historical place like such is filled with people from different walks of life, all bonded by the tradition that still ties us as one.
