Chermaine’s first look was a sleek mermaid gown featuring artistic folds and abstract drapings, crafted from lavish duchess satin, showcasing a luxurious aesthetic that complemented her style. The minimalist and simple design of the gown made it the perfect choice for the morning, exuding elegance and refinement.
“I remember feeling so sad having to take off the gown after
trying it and that’s how i realised it was the one.”
Sharing of tanyuan remains a traditional custom as a symbol of unity, happiness, and good fortune for the couple's harmonious and prosperous marriage.
TEA CEREMONY
Chermaine subsequently donned a custom-made cheongsam designed by senior designer, Miah Tay, in an exquisite shade of green, embellished with intricate lace patterns of contrasting green hues that cascaded gracefully. The incorporation of three-dimensional pink blossoms added a touch of delicacy to the overall appearance. The perfect cheongsam designed specifically for tea ceremony.

With its ingenious design, it offers the versatility to work around just one gown, allowing Chermaine to effortlessly transition her look with elegance and style. Upon removing her wedding veil, Chermaine then added a detachable bow at the back of the gown for a change of look from her morning ceremony, introducing a delightful transformation to her appearance for her photoshoot in between ceremonies.
FIRST MARCH IN
For her first march-in, Chermaine retained her mermaid gown but elevated the overall grandeur by augmenting it with a magnificent duchess satin detachable skirt. This striking addition completely transformed her look, leaving her guests in awe of her radiant presence.
The combination of the mermaid gown and the detachable skirt created a captivating ensemble that exuded elegance and extravagance, making Chermaine the center of attention throughout the event.
“My designer, Miah, was very helpful and he was very receptive of my requests which I really appreciated.”
The wedding venue was enveloped in an atmosphere that was exceptionally light-hearted, joyful, and cozy. Smiles adorned every face, and laughter echoed through the air, creating a sense of warmth and cheerfulness that made everyone feel at ease and truly celebratory.

SECOND MARCH IN
Chermaine's second march-in unveiled a captivating sight as she graced the occasion in a mesmerizing light blue mermaid gown. The gown boasted a subtly plunging neckline, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and allure, making it a fitting choice for the evening. Adding a touch of romance and softness, the ensemble was adorned with graceful pink leaves and flowers, while the incorporation of blue tulle in the skirt added an additional layer of ethereal beauty and grace, creating a truly enchanting look.
Chermaine has a valuable piece of advice to share with future brides-to-be:
